Autograph letter signed : Zurich, to his friend Sulzer, town clerk in Winterthur, 1768 June 20.

Inquiring about his child suffering from smallpox, and asking the town council for a loan on behalf of the management of his porcelain factory. Endorsed in Sulzer's autograph that his child had been inoculated and recovered, and that the town council had refused to make the loan.
